The First.

Well, this is the first one, so I guess a brief background might be required:

My name is Deryn, and for now I'm 20yrs old.
That'll change on Thursday, March 1st; my Birthday. Whoop-ee.
I currently live in Idaho, where I attend school.
I'm single (honestly though, I'm fine with it.).
I'm studying Psychology and Communications, and would like to do research on Autism one day.
I live in a three room apartment with five other girls, just off campus (crazy, right?)

Likes: Music, baking, reading, food, writing, and playing piano.
Dislikes: Know-it-alls, hipsters, and sloths. They creep me out. Like barnacles...

My favorite band is, hands down, is Muse. However, I've recently discovered Foxy Shazam (haven't heard of them? Look 'em up, nao) and they immediately earned a precious place in my heart. Fun. is great as well; their new album is enjoyable.

I have an awesome Mother and Father, to whom I love very much. I've also been blessed with 2 younger brothers, and a younger sister (making me the eldest.). Back home, in Michigan, my family is the proud owners of a small dog, Nyroc, and two cats. My younger brother, Avery, has a (extremely fat) tabby-cat named Baby (creative, right?). Then I also have a cat, named Gwen. She's a black Turkish Angora, and I miss her like crazy. After having a personal heating pad sleeping with me for 5years, her presence, or lack thereof, is definitely noticed.

Anywho, enough about that. Now that I've got the initial, awkward first post done and out of the way, I'll begin posting more exciting things soon.

PS: By the by, I have a feeling I'll be referring to two of my roommates in particular, frequently. They've been nicknamed The Nonsense Twins. I'll elaborate more on them next time.
